The Holidays

Josh and I have been so busy and the holidays have been flying by. We have enjoyed seeing family and friends and we are looking forward for Christmas. Thanksgiving was fun and delightful.
Josh worked a graveyard the night before so he got home at 6:30 Thanksgiving morning and went to bed for a few hours while I got food ready for the big feast. We then went down to Mapleton to my uncle Dan's home (my mom's brother). We had a wonderful meal and enjoyed seeing cousins, aunts and uncles. There are new additions to our family and we got to know a lot of new faces. Josh said that it felt good to be a part of the family this year instead of just being the "boyfriend." The last time we had thanksgiving with my side of the family Josh and I were not even engaged.
This year Seth was the one that brought along his girlfriend. She was asked many questions by family and drilled quite a bit. She did a wonderful job and held her own, I was very impressed. Luckily Josh was never sent threw that gauntlet of questions.
I always enjoy time with the family. Getting together is a great time to catch up since life is so busy. We look forward to Christmas and getting together with friends and family for parties. We are having Christmas with Josh's family this year, which is always a fun time.
