That night, Cambria worked a grave then drove to her parents house, where she went to sleep after work. I drove down from Ogden that morning and woke Cambria up when the Sunday morning conference session started. I was able to wake her up which is always nice. She is so beautiful when she sleeps, and gets a huge smile when I wake her up. We had some breakfast, which included great cinnamon rolls of Linda's, and watched conference with Monty and Linda, and of course Trinity (their Labrador). After the first session, we had a great lunch with their family, and Nathan and Sharlyn came over with their cute kids.
After a fun time at their house, we went to my parents house, which is only a half mile away as the crow flies. Wow, I feel old after using that phrase. Anyway, we had a great time with my parents watching the second session. Cambria and I were both quite tired, but managed to stay alert enough to listen. My parents saved us some German Pancakes they made that morning, a tradition we have had for years. I have had very good memories of watching conference with my family. I am grateful for amazing parents and in-laws who engrained in us the desire for constant learning and edification. I'm sure it might be more hectic as we add children in the future, but I'm sure I will enjoy it all the same. I had a wonderful weekend full of great memories with family.
