Superbowl Sunday

We just got back from Nathan and Sharlyn's house. We went over right after church to watch the Superbowl game. It was a pretty good game, especially for someone like me who doesn't ever watch sports. It is my one time a year game I will watch. Cambria really enjoyed it, and I enjoy spending the time with her and family. I hope I don't offend anybody, but when sports is all you can talk about when you get together with your friends, that is pretty lame. I was so annoyed by missionaries on my mission who would never talk about anything else. They knew the names of almost every player for every team. Maybe that is your interest, but there are other things in life, especially while on your mission. Oh well, i guess it's just not me in any way. If you are in to that, more power to you, but have some moderation. I loved how Nathan and Jason weren't way too into the game, and just had a good time watching it.
Now we are back and Cambria's parents house watching. Cambria is talking on the phone to her dad who went straight from California up to his parent's house in Idaho. Overall it was a really good Sunday. I didn't have to go to work, church was great, and I got to spend the whole day with my wife. I have some Chemistry homework to do and I still want to watch another part of Band of Brothers tonight, so I'm off to get my homework done.

  1. You sound just like Monty in regards to sports. I don't think any of our boys is a fanatic about sports so you all blend well. I am glad to hear how much you love spending time with your wife. I think she is pretty special as well!
